CONFERENCE INFORMATION


September 18th - 22nd, 2017
The Embassy Suites Portland Airport, Portland, Oregon

This year's conference will be held at The Embassy Suites - Portland Airport Hotel in Portland, Oregon. The conference will run from Monday, September 18, through noon on Friday, September 22. Monday through Wednesday morning are workshop days, Wednesday afternoon is our vendor reception and business meeting and Thursday and Friday are our keynote presentation and general session presentations.

Please make your room reservations NO LATER THAN THURSDAY, AUGUST 24TH, by calling their reservation line (503-460-3000) and mentioning the group "Northwest Association of Forensic Scientists" to receive the special negotiated hotel room rate of $169.00 per night.

VENDOR INFORMATION


Vendor set-up will be allowed on Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning. Vendor break down must be completed by Friday morning. The main exhibitor day will be Wednesday, September 20, but we welcome and encourage you to stay through and attend our general session on Thursday (at no additional fee).

The Embassy Suites offers a free shuttle to Cascade Station, a nearby shopping center that features great dinning and shopping options, including Ikea.

The Embassy Suites is also located right on the MAX Light Rail Line, Portland's public transportation system. Take a short right downtown and visit one of Portland's many breweries, grab a doughnut at the famous Voodoo Doughnuts or take a walk along the Willamette River.
